Wesco’s Extended Colour Palette For Cookware and Kitchen Accessories Set to Sparkle at Autumn Fair

August 2006

Following the continued success of its coloured cookware range, German retro home and kitchenwares manufacturer Wesco is offering a stunning palette of colour combinations for its cookware and kitchen accessory ranges for the first time at Autumn Fair.  Fast becoming renowned for colour innovation in the kitchen, Wesco’s box sets of three-piece stainless steel coloured 16, 18 and 20cm pans with lids are bound to receive a very favourable reception as Christmas gifts.

Wesco cookware is available from stock at the show alongside the retro styled stovetop whistling kettles, kitchen scales, bread and waste bins in almond and new silver.  Bread and waste bins are also available from stock in a variety of other colours, while the limited edition colours of candy pink and orange are available from stock in a selected range of kitchen accessories, bread and waste bins.  The premium quality cookware range also includes a 24cm casserole with lid and a 24cm open fry pan with new prices ranging from £25 to £100 HSP for the three-piece cookware set.

Commenting on the addition of even more colours to the Wesco palette, John Newcomb, Commercial Director of Imperial, Wesco’s exclusive distributor in the UK and Eire, says, “Colour in the kitchen remains very popular and the retail trend to display colour combinations to engage the consumer is proving highly successful.”  He continues, “The colours featured at Autumn Fair include the classic 50s candy pink and almond alongside the striking 60s monochrome look and funky 70s vibrant orange and black.  The display is so innovative and visually enticing that we are certain it will attract even greater customer appeal for the Christmas gift season.”
