Soehnle Launches New Scales Range

SOEHNLE LAUNCHES EXCITING NEW COLOURS AND TECHNICALLY ADVANCED KITCHEN & BATHROOM SCALES AT EXCLUSIVELY HOUSEWARES

Soehnle, Europe’s leading supplier of kitchen and bathroom scales, will be launching new and innovative models in both their kitchen and bathroom scale ranges at Exclusively Housewares. All the new models will be available to order from July 2008.

Retro, a dual display electronic analogue and digital kitchen scale, features the highly desirable combination of classic 1950s design with ‘state-of-the-art’ Soehnle technology. With a 5kg capacity displayed in 1g increments, instant metric to imperial conversion, stainless steel bowl and sleek die cast body finished in red and chrome, Retro retails at £75 and comes complete with a 5-year guarantee. Following the success of the red colour launched 12 months ago; the colour range has now been extended to include the classic colours cream and black.

At only 17mm in height, Slim Design Page is the most innovative and space saving kitchen scale. Its smooth tempered glass surface guarantees easy cleaning, whilst the sensor touch operating panel ensures that only the slightest contact with the keys is necessary. With a 5kg capacity shown in 1g increments on a large LCD display, Page offers both an additive weighing function and metric to imperial conversion. Retailing at £45, Page comes complete with a 5-year guarantee. Alongside the hugely successful white colour, Soehnle are now launching silver and black, with limited edition colours in blue, orange, yellow and red also available as promotional lines..

Ultra, is a compact, digital precision scale with precise 0.1g graduation to weigh even the smallest quantities of up to 500g. An audible signal sounds in case of overload. The removable, transparent weighing bowl also serves as a protective cover after use. Ultra is available in white, retailing at £30 and chrome finish, RRP £40.

Pronto, is a digital scale for wall mounting. It incorporates a clock function in standby and a practical kitchen timer. There is a large LCD screen and tare function. After use simply fold the weighing plate up, for compact storage. Retailing at £25, it will be available in white.

Also on show at Exclusively Housewares are two new models of Body Balance scales. Slim FT 4 is an ultra-flat body analysis scale for the precise determination of body fat, body water and energy consumption (kcal) through Bio-Impedance measurement. Alongside this will be Slim FT 5 which has all the functionality of Slim FT 4, but also incorporates an athletic mode for the very active. Both models retail at RRP £80.

Comfort XXL has a portable wireless display and extra large platform, with a high load capacity of up to 200kg. The body weight is transmitted from the scale to the portable display via wireless technology up to 3m away and retails at RRP £60.

The Legno scale reflects modern natural bathrooms and has been created with high quality wood veneer. The surface is extremely resistant to wet and dry conditions due to the scratch proof two component varnish. RRP £50.

Finally, offering excellent value for money, the new Body Control Contour F3 is a body analysis scale which determines body fat, body water and body weight. It has all the quality and technical Soehnle ‘know-how’ but retails at an amazing £35
