Imperial are on the move


Imperial are delighted to announce their relocation to a new Head Office and Distribution Centre at Whiteacres in Whetstone, Leicestershire on June 1st 2010.

After 20 years Imperial have outgrown their existing premises at Sheene Road, Beaumont Leys and the new site, which is three times larger then their current offices, has room for further expansion as the business continues to grow. 

In addition to providing the company with increased office space, Imperial will be able to consolidate their stock on one site as warehouse capacity will triple in size. This will enable Imperial to further improve their high levels of service to all customers.

The Imperial showroom has always been an exciting shop-window, presenting high quality and innovative products within brands such as BBC Easy Cook, BBC Ready Steady Cook, BBC Good Food, Eazigrip, Axis and Wesco. The new premises will house a showroom nearly 200% bigger. This enables Imperial to not only display these quality brands, but also allows Imperial to demonstrate examples of in-store merchandising associated with the Leifheit, Spirella and Rotho brands, alongside new brands Me to You, Ministry of Information and Historic Royal Palaces.

Speaking about the move Managing Director Mo B’ham says, “As the business and the Imperial team has grown, this move has become a vital step in the company’s future expansion plans. It represents an investment of over £3 million and I am very proud to be staying in Leicestershire, where Imperial has been established for over 40 years”.
